Find out how you can record and edit a round with Clippd

Creating a round

1. Tap Add Activity and then Add a round

2. Search for the course you are playing. If you cannot find your course or changes need to be made, let us know at [email protected]

TIP: If there is a course you play regularly, you can favourite it by clicking the star to the right

4. Enter the round details, give the round a specific title and choose the tees you are playing

TIP: You can edit the par and length of specific holes when entering shot data later on

5. Select the type of round you are playing. Practice, Qualifying or Tournament. The type of round your playing impacts the Shot Quality scores given

6. Select the weather and conditions for the round. The conditions you play in impact the Shot Quality scores given

7. Choose whether you want to use Fast mode or Enhanced mode. Using Enhanced means you will be asked to add extra detail to some of your shots. This helps Clippd give you deeper insights

8. Click Start Round


Entering round details

1. When entering shot details for a hole, make sure the par and yardage are accurate. You can change this by tapping the pencil icon at the top.

2. Enter the required details for the shot

3. With Enhanced mode you can add extra detail on your Approach shots and with your Putting

4. When you have added the required shots on a hole, tap Add Shot

5. If you don't complete a hole, click Pick Up

6. Tap Next Hole when you have completed a hole

7. Once you have completed all the holes you are playing, tap Save Round. You will get a message when your round has been successfully created. It will appear in your Feed and Activities shortly after. People you are connected with will be able to view, like and comment on your round (depending on your privacy settings)


Editing round details or deleting a Clippd round

1. Tap Performance then tap Activities.

2. Find the Clippd round you need to delete or edit. You can search by keyword or apply filters to narrow down the search

3. When you have found the specific round, tap the three dots. You can then choose to Edit activity or Delete activity

4. If you choose Delete activity, you will be asked if you're sure this is what you want to do. Deleting a round will delete it from your Clippd account and recalculate all your data without this round

5. If you choose Edit activity you will be able to change any of the round details you selected when creating the round. You will also be able to add a description of how you played and any additional photographs

6. Tap Save Details


Editing shots in a Clippd round

1. Tap Performance then tap Activities.

2. Find the Clippd round you need to edit. You can search by keyword or apply filters to narrow down the search

3. When you have found the specific round, tap the three dots. Tap Edit activity and scroll down. Tap Edit Shots

4. Use the arrows to find the hole with the shot(s) you need to edit. Delete ALL the shots you hit after the one that needs editing

5. Edit the shot details and click Add Shot

6. Add the deleted shots back in

7. Once you have edited and added back all necessary shots tap Save Round

8. You will get a message when your round has been successfully updated. It will appear in your Feed and Activities shortly after. People you are connected with will be able to view, like and comment on your round (depending on your privacy settings)


Recording a round on a simulator

1. Tap Add Activity and then Add a round

2. Search for the course you are playing. If you cannot find your course or changes need to be made, contact us at [email protected]

4. Enter the round details, give the round a specific title and choose the tees you are playing

5. Select the type of round your playing. Practice, Qualifying or Tournament. The type of round your playing impacts the Shot Quality scores given

6. Tap Yes under Is this a Simulator Round? Then choose which kind of shots you don't want to count towards your stats; for example, all shots within 6ft of the hole

6. Select the weather and conditions for the round on the sim. The conditions impact your Shot Quality scores

7. Choose whether you want to use Fast mode or Enhanced mode. Using Enhanced means you will be asked to add extra detail to some of your shots. This helps Clippd give you greater insights

8. Tap Start Round

9. When entering shot details for a hole, make sure the par and yardage are accurate. You can change this by tapping the pencil icon at the top.

10. Enter the required details for the shot

11. With Enhanced mode you can add extra detail on your Approach shots and with your Putting

12. When you have added the required shots on a hole, tap Add Shot

13. If you don't complete a hole, click Pick Up

14. Tap Next Hole when you have completed a hole

15. Once you have completed all the holes you are playing, tap Save Round. You will get a message when your round has been successfully created. It will appear in your Feed and Activities shortly after tagged Sim underneath your score. People you are connected with will be able to view, like and comment on your round (depending on your privacy settings)
